Privacy Policy

This policy explains what we collect when you visit this site or contact us, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the control you keep over it. Plain English, no filler.

Who we are

Local Brand Boosters is a digital marketing agency operating under that trade name (DBA) from Cape Coral, Florida. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Local Brand Boosters, and “you” means anyone who visits this website or gets in touch with us.

We are the party responsible for the personal information described below. You can reach us any time at info@localbrandboosters.com or (239) 878-5641.

This policy covers www.localbrandboosters.com and the enquiries that reach us through it by form, email, phone or WhatsApp. It does not cover third-party sites we link to, and it does not cover the websites we build and manage for our clients — each of those businesses publishes its own policy.

Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact form. Your full name, email address, phone number (optional) and whatever you write in the message field.
  • Direct contact. Anything you include when you email us, call us or message us on WhatsApp — including your phone number and the content of the conversation.
  • If you become a client. Business details, billing information, and delegated access to platforms you already own: your Google Business Profile, Google Ads account, Google Analytics property, website and social profiles.

Information collected automatically

Only once you have accepted the matching cookie category, the analytics and advertising tools listed in our Cookie Policy collect:

  • Your IP address, and an approximate location no more precise than city level.
  • Device type, operating system, browser and screen size.
  • Which pages you viewed, how you got here (search, ad, direct or referral) and how long you stayed.
  • The ad-click identifier, if you arrived through one of our Meta or Google ads.

Before you choose, this site loads no analytics and no advertising scripts at all — not Google Analytics, not the Meta Pixel, not Google Ads. Everything starts denied. Fonts and icons are served from our own domain, so simply reading this page sends nothing to a third party.

What we do not collect

We never ask for Social Security numbers, government-issued ID numbers, health information or precise geolocation. We do not store payment card numbers on this website; invoices are handled by third-party processors that receive card details directly.

How we use your information

  • To reply to you. Answering your enquiry is the whole reason the form exists.
  • To prepare your free audit. We look up your business’s public presence — your Google Business Profile, your rankings, your website — and write up what we find.
  • To deliver our services if you hire us, and to communicate with you while we do.
  • To invoice you and keep our books in order.
  • To measure our own marketing, with your consent: which pages and which ads actually produce enquiries.
  • To improve this site — fix what is confusing, remove what nobody reads.
  • To comply with the law and to defend our legal rights if we ever have to.

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects for you. A person reads every enquiry.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it or publish it. We do not pass your details to other agencies or to lead brokers.

We do rely on a short list of service providers, each processing data on our instructions and not for purposes of their own choosing:

ProviderWhat it handlesTheir policy
Web3FormsDelivers contact-form submissions to our inboxweb3forms.com/privacy
Google WorkspaceThe inbox where your enquiry arrives and where we reply frompolicies.google.com/privacy
Google Analytics 4Aggregate traffic measurement — only with your consentpolicies.google.com/privacy
Google AdsMeasuring conversions from our ads — only with your consentpolicies.google.com/privacy
Meta PlatformsThe Meta Pixel, measuring conversions from our Facebook and Instagram ads — only with your consentfacebook.com/privacy/policy
WhatsApp (Meta)Conversations you choose to start with us on WhatsAppwhatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy
Our website hostServing these pages, plus short-lived server logs kept for security and troubleshooting

Beyond that, we disclose information only when the law requires it — a valid subpoena, court order or government request — or when it is necessary to protect our rights, our safety, or the safety of others. If our business is ever sold or merged, your information may transfer with it, and this policy will follow it until the new owner publishes their own.

Advertising and remarketing

We advertise on Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and on Google. With your consent, the Meta Pixel and the Google Ads tag record that you visited this site, so we can measure which ads produce real enquiries and, in some cases, show you our ads again on those platforms.

You can turn this off, or back on, whenever you like:

  • Reject or withdraw marketing cookies with the button on this site. This is the fastest route and it takes effect immediately.
  • Adjust what Meta shows you at Meta Ad Preferences.
  • Adjust what Google shows you at Google My Ad Center.
  • Opt out across many advertisers at once at optout.aboutads.info.

If we ever build a Custom Audience from a contact list, we upload only hashed identifiers, and only for people who are already our clients or who explicitly asked us to contact them. We never upload lists we bought, scraped, or were handed by someone else.

How long we keep it

WhatHow long
Enquiries that do not turn into workUp to 24 months, then deleted
Client records and correspondenceThe length of the engagement, plus the period US tax and accounting rules require of us — typically up to 7 years
Analytics dataGoogle Analytics is configured to delete user-level and event-level data after 14 months
Your cookie choice12 months in your own browser, or until you clear it

When a retention period ends we delete the information, or anonymise it so it can no longer be linked back to you.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, some or all of these rights apply to you. We extend them to everyone who asks, regardless of jurisdiction, because arguing about whose law applies is a poor use of everyone’s time:

  • Know and access — ask what we hold about you and get a copy.
  • Correct — have inaccurate information fixed.
  • Delete — have your information erased, unless we are legally required to keep it.
  • Portability — receive your information in a machine-readable format.
  • Opt out of targeted advertising and of any sale or sharing of personal information.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting what was lawful before you withdrew it.
  • Non-discrimination — exercising any of these costs you nothing and changes nothing about how we treat you.
  • Appeal — if we refuse a request, you can ask us to reconsider and we will explain our reasoning in writing.

To exercise any of them, email info@localbrandboosters.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line. We respond within 30 days. We may first ask you to confirm your identity — only enough to be sure we are not handing your data to someone else.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell personal information for money, ever. However, when you consent to marketing cookies, the Meta Pixel and the Google Ads tag transmit identifiers to Meta and Google that under California law may count as “sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising”. Rejecting marketing cookies — or withdrawing that consent later through — stops it completely. That control is the opt-out; you do not need to email us for it.

How we protect it

This site is served entirely over HTTPS. It is a static site: no database, no user accounts, no login — so there is no visitor database here to breach in the first place.

Your enquiry lives in our email inbox, which is protected with two-factor authentication. When we work on a client’s platforms we use each platform’s own delegated-access system wherever it offers one, rather than sharing passwords.

That said, no method of transmitting or storing data is perfectly secure. We cannot promise absolute security, and we will tell you promptly if a breach ever affects your information.

Children’s privacy

This site is aimed at business owners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us something, email us and we will delete it.

Visitors outside the United States

We operate from Florida, and our service providers process data in the United States. If you contact us from the EEA, the UK or anywhere else, your information will be transferred to and stored in the US, where data protection law differs from your own. Where such a transfer requires a safeguard, our providers rely on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent mechanism.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy whenever what we actually do changes — a new tool, a new service, a new legal requirement. The “last updated” date at the top of this page always reflects the version you are reading. If a change materially affects your rights, we will make it obvious on this page rather than quietly editing a paragraph.
